General Treatment Information: Before Your Pest Services
PUT UP ALL PETS BEFORE SERVICE
Please make sure your pets are put up prior to our service technician entering your home. For example,
- Crate your dogs / cats
- Put cats in an area that is not being treated (like outside or in a distant room)
Putting your animals in a confined or separate area will help to keep them safe from any toxic solutions that might be used to treat an infestation. Additionally, this protect our technicians from discomfort, potential danger, and even allergies.
Please ensure that children and tenants provide the necessary space for our technicians to properly treat your home. For safety reasons, make sure all children, pets, and occupants are out of the treating area while the home is being treated.
If you are getting your yard treated, then please make sure pets are inside.
Follow all recommendations and preparation instructions given when the appointment is made.
Make sure there proper lighting in all rooms being treated. Please change lights bulb if needed and open blinds as well. If there are any light blocking devices on your windows please remove them.
Specify off-boundary rooms where necessary, but prep all rooms when possible. When treating for past such as spiders and roaches, it is good idea to treat every area in the home. Sometimes we get technicians that tell us that we weren’t able to treat the home effectively because the the client preferred us to not enter certain rooms or those rooms weren’t ready for treatment. Please ensure your space is ready and available for treatment.
Ensure sure baseboards are free from clutter, clothes, toys, etc. This will allow technician to treat crack and crevice areas and also find potential entry points of pest.
Clean before your appointment. Mopping, vacuuming, and washing clothes and dishes can help your home and the technician be able to find potential entry points of pest and hiding places of pests.
Seal up any pet food containers and remove food bowls and water bowls from floor.
